As I prepare to graduate this May with my Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, I’ve been spending a lot of time reflecting on the journey that brought me here.
College has challenged me in ways I never expected, but it has also helped me grow, learn, and become more confident in who I am and the path I want to take. Studying criminology and criminal justice has strengthened my passion for understanding the justice system and the role it plays in shaping communities and protecting people.
This milestone means so much to me—not just because of the degree, but because of the hard work, sacrifices, and support that made it possible. I’m incredibly grateful to my family, friends, mentors, and professors who believed in me and encouraged me every step of the way.
As I get ready to walk across the stage, I’m excited for what comes next. This is only the beginning of the journey, and I look forward to continuing my education and preparing for graduate school.
